TEINTURE V\u00c9G\u00c9TALE<\/a><\/span><\/p>

Teinture avec des feuilles de\u00a0Rhubarbe<\/a><\/h1>
\u00a0<\/div>
J\u2019adore la tarte \u00e0 la rhubarbe mais que faire des feuilles ? Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent , elles nourrissaient le compost. Mais j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert leur utilit\u00e9 en teinture. C\u2019est parti pour une nouvelle exp\u00e9rience !<\/span><\/div>

Un peu de botanique\u2026<\/h2>

La rhubarbe est une plante herbac\u00e9e du genre\u00a0Rheum<\/em>\u00a0et de la famille des\u00a0polygonac\u00e9es<\/em>. Seule la tige est comestible. La feuille est toxique pour l\u2019homme mais aussi pour les animaux. La partie a\u00e9rienne de la plante disparait totalement l\u2019hiver, seul le rhizome persiste. Le rhizome peut \u00eatre divis\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019automne pour cr\u00e9er de nouveaux plants. Lors d\u2019une visite du ch\u00e2teau de Gu\u00e9delon en 2018, j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert qu\u2019il pouvait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 en teinture.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s avoir pr\u00e9lev\u00e9 les tiges pour une d\u00e9licieuse tarte \u00e0 la rhubarbe, j\u2019ai coup\u00e9 les feuilles et les ai fait s\u00e9cher pour une utilisation ult\u00e9rieure.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Pour une utilisation imm\u00e9diate, je pense que la proportion de 300g pour 100g de laine est correcte.<\/p>

Le jour choisi pour ma teinture, j\u2019ai utilis\u00e9 100g de feuilles s\u00e9ch\u00e9es pour 100g de laine. J\u2019ai recouvert d\u2019eau bouillante et laiss\u00e9 fr\u00e9mir 1heure, \u00e0 petits \u00ab\u00a0flopflop\u00a0\u00bb. J\u2019ai filtr\u00e9 le jus au travers de mon \u00ab\u00a0rideau-\u00e9tamine\u00a0\u00bb et laiss\u00e9 refroidir le bain.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Teinture<\/h2>

Apr\u00e8s avoir laiss\u00e9 tremper mes \u00e9cheveaux mordanc\u00e9s ( voir l\u2019article sur mon premier essai), je les ai plong\u00e9s dans le bain de teinture, allong\u00e9 d\u2019une quantit\u00e9 d\u2019eau suffisante pour couvrir la laine. Le bain est \u00e0 30-35\u00b0C. J\u2019ai chauff\u00e9 progressivement \u00e0 85-95\u00b0C en remuant lentement toutes les 10 minutes environs. D\u00e8s que j\u2019ai plong\u00e9 la laine , j\u2019ai vu apparaitre une jolie couleur jaune.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

J\u2019ai laiss\u00e9 mijoter pendant 1 heure et laiss\u00e9 refroidir les \u00e9cheveaux \u00e0 30-35\u00b0C avant de les rincer plusieurs fois en v\u00e9rifiant \u00e0 chaque fois la temp\u00e9rature de l\u2019eau. J\u2019ai obtenu un joli jaune d\u2019or.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

J\u2019ai lu qu\u2019il \u00e9tait possible d\u2019interrompre la teinture avant la fin du processus en plongeant la laine dans un bain d\u2019eau \u00e0 85\u00b0C. Ce sera pour un prochain essai.<\/span><\/p>

Post mordan\u00e7age au Sulfate de Fer<\/span><\/p>

J\u2019ai ajout\u00e9 dans le bain de teinture ti\u00e8de\u00a06 g de sulfate de fer<\/span>\u00a0et j\u2019ai plong\u00e9 un \u00e9cheveau encore mouill\u00e9 et \u2026. Whaou ! Un vert kaki !<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
